Oh. I said the same thing a few years ago. That's how I started doing 24 hour care for the elderly. It started with taking care of my Mother, she had lung cancer and eventually passed away. But that expericence started a whole new way of life for me. I've been doing it now for about 8 years and it's working out for me. It's not for everyone, but I do fine. I hope that your Mom's issues are not too serious and that she will recover.

No, at the moment I'm not looking. I'm planning on taking some time off. I'm calling it a "sabbatical." :-) I'm going to take care of my mom full-time for a while. She has medical issues.

I recovered. :-) But...now I'm being laid off! I'll take that over the food poisoning, however. It really has been that long?? Wow.

Has anyone checked on Marua? In her last post she said she was suffering from food poisoning. That was quite some time ago. (9 months)
