Photographs surround me daily. Although I am terrible at taking them, I still love to collect big and small events onto photo paper and stuff album after album of these little treasures. I also enjoy professional photographer's work and how they capture our world in their own special way. Like a quote or saying that makes us see the world in a slightly different way, so does a photograph alter our view of the world if only just a tiny bit.
To me, photography is a memory that you can visually share with everyone or anyone. I know that without photos I would have surely forgotten my daughter's face. She passed away in 1999 from SIDS. The photos I have of her remind me of all the fun times and also of all the late nights with a colicky tummy.

We need to try to capture every moment. You never know when it will be the last.
