I've no children of my own, but lately I seem to have MANY fertile friends, so I've been knitting lots of booties. Very quick and fun, instant gratification projects!

@Lisa Swigert: Have you visited www.ravelry.com? TONS of free patterns available and a pretty good social network for knitters. So glad you found knitting - it's the best therapy I know!

My name is Debbie and I knit and crochet things for charity. I work with a local Project Linus group in Queens, NY. I am also a member for AC4C an online charity group where every month we send things to a particular charity.
